Abrams and the cast appeared on a Star Wars-themed episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Beginning in August 2015, Target stores held a campaign called “Share the Force,” which included TV ads, exclusive in-store merchandise, star wars costumes and an online program in which Star Wars fans could submit images and videos that captured their memories of the franchise. Abrams, Boyega, kids cosplay costumes and Ridley participated in a Saturday Night Live sketch featuring cast members and guest celebrities in a series of fake auditions.
